Should the roof slope front to back or back to front?

Roofs sloping front to back make filling and emptying easier but maybe don’t look as clean against a wall. Roofs sloping back to front may look more in keeping but filling can be trickier if you need to utilise all the space. Back to front also means that if you’ve no gutter the rainwater may allow water to pool where you stand to fill your log basket. Is there a right answer, not really, it’s all down to where you’re erecting it and your personal preference.
